A strong second half was not enough for the Patriots Saturday night as George Mason women's basketball fell 82-59 at Saint Louis in front of an Atlantic 10 record crowd of 7,184.

The Patriots shot a season-low 14.7 percent (5-34) from the field in the first half and found themselves in a 33-13 hole heading into halftime. Mason's offense picked up in the second half, improving to 40.6 (13-32) behind 18 second-half points from Taylor Brown, who led the Patriots with 21 in the effort.

The Billikens connected on 43.9 (29-66) of their shots on the night, with four players reaching double-digits. Center Sadie Stipanovich lead the way for SLU, tying Brown's A-10 season-record with 35 points on the night in addition to 10 rebounds.
