It's Homecoming 2015 for George Mason on Saturday as both the men's and women's basketball teams welcome in-state foes. The women's basketball team kicks off the day with VCU at noon while the men's team entertains Richmond at 4 p.m. on MASN. Richmond took the first meeting between the two squads earlier this season in Richmond.
Mason looks to snap a four-game skid after falling at Davidson on Wednesday. The Patriots were led by four players in double-figures paced by Shevon Thompson with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Mason shot 55.8 percent for the game but could not overcome strong shooting from the Wildcats.
Richmond enters the contest off a victory over Fordham at home this week. Three Spiders average double-figures on the season led by Kendall Anthony with 17.1 ppg. Anthony ranks fourth in the A-10 in scoring. Terry Allen adds 12.5 ppg and leads the team in rebounding with 5.7 rpg.
