The George Mason men's soccer team recently hosted its annual Senior Salute to honor the current senior members of the team as well as to present post season awards.

“This senior class and our program are not defined by one season,” stated head coach Greg Andrulis. “In the four years that this group was together they were part of some significant moments in Mason Soccer history. With the passing of time, this senior group will be able to look back positively upon their careers and contributions. Knowing that they are leaving the Mason program better than when they started four years ago. “

Amongst their notable accomplishments as a class include: the best four-year record of any graduating Mason team since 1998 and earning national ranking in three of their four years, ranking as high as 11th. Additionally, the senior class recorded conference quarterfinal, semifinal and final appearances and helped win the 2013 Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, earning a berth into the NCAA Tournament where they picked up a win over William & Mary.

A hard-working group on the field, the senior class was also recognized for their community service off the field and giving back to the community. They were also part of a team honored as an Academic All-American Team and played with two All-Americans and 14 All-Conference teammates. As of today, they have played with six players who have signed professional contracts.

The six seniors will graduate with majors in Engineering, Accounting, Education, Sports Management and ISOM.

In addition, the men's soccer program honors its alumni and great tradition by having each of the individual player awards named after a member of the George Mason Men's Soccer Hall of Fame. The 2015 winners are:
