George Mason men's basketball senior Patrick Holloway has been suspended for the Patriots first six regular-season games for not meeting program expectations as a student-athlete.
“We have high expectations for our basketball program, which include an overall commitment to academics, attend all classes, and follow team policies. Patrick has not met those responsibilities,” said Coach Dave Paulsen. “Since we play five consecutive games on the road, I cannot in good conscience allow Patrick to miss more class time. He needs to prove that he can manage his responsibility as a student-athlete.”
The suspension includes the home-opener against Colgate this Friday through the game at Manhattan on November 25.
