2015 ATLANTIC 10 TOURNAMENT BRACKET

BRONX, N.Y.
– The George Mason women's soccer team clinched a spot in the 2015 Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament playing to a 1-1 draw at Fordham in its final regular season contest of the season. Alex Myers put Mason in the lead scoring just over 20 seconds into the second half. The Patriots would nearly close out the victory, but Fordham tied the score with a tally at the 89:35 mark.

MATCH NOTES
-Fordham saw a few scoring chances in the first half, but could not convert as Kirsten Glad came up with four saves in the period.
-The conference teams played through a scoreless first half before Mason opened the scoring with just 21 seconds expired in the second half.
-Myers finished a Daniela Neves assist as Myers collected the throw in from Neves and chipped it over Fitzgerald inside the far post for the goal.
-The goal marked Myers' fifth of the season as she is second on the team in points with 17.
-Emma Starr looked to cushion Mason's lead, but Fordham was able to stop the attempt.
-After several attempts, Fordham knotted the score with 25 seconds left in regulation.
-Brianna Blunck finished a shot from six-yards out off a Jessica Widmann assist.
-The teams combined for four shots in the overtime periods, but neither team could convert as both teams ended the regular season in a 1-1 draw.

STAT BREAKDOWN
-Fordham outshot the Patriots 18-4 in the contest overall, despite Mason scoring the first goal.
-The Rams also led in corner kicks, 4-2.
-Kirsten Glad came up with eight saves in the match, including four stops in the first half.
-Mason placed three shots on goal, forcing Megan Fitzgerald into a pair of saves.
-Emma Starr led Mason with two shots, while Alex Myers attempted one shot, converting on the goal.
