The George Mason men's basketball team hits the road for its first Atlantic 10 Conference game of the season at Richmond on Thursday. The Patriots defeated Richmond last season in Fairfax in Mason's inaugural season of the A-10. The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network with Steve Schlanger and Ron Thompson announcing.

Mason is coming off a victory over La Salle, 70-62, to open league play. Four Patriots scored 13 points to lead the Patriots. Mason shot 57.5 percent from the field in the win, marking the second highest field goal percentage this season from the Patriots.

Richmond opened A-10 play falling at Davidson despite three Spiders scoring in double-figures led by Kendall Anthony with 15 points. Anthony leads the team offensively on the season, averaging 15.5 points per game. Terry Allen leads the team with 5.6 rebounds per game, while also averaging 10.7 ppg. Richmond boasts a 6-2 record on its home court and looks to snap a three-game losing streak.
