George Mason closes out this two-game homestand welcoming Saint Louis to the Patriot Center for an A-10 Network game on Thursday. The Patriots and Billikens meet for just the third time in program history. Last season, Saint Louis took both decisions over Mason in overtime.
Thursday's game marks Game of the Week for Mason students that enter through the North Entrance. Mason students who present a valid student ID will receive a free Mason Knit Beanie Cap.
Mason is coming off a tough decision against Davidson, falling in overtime after leading the Wildcats by six with less than a minute to play. Shevon Thompson recorded his ninth double-double of the season, while Marquise Moore led the Patriots with a game-high 18 points.
Saint Louis comes into the contest looking to snap a two-game skid after coming off a last-minute loss to VCU. The Billikens led undefeated VCU coming into the final seconds, but a layup made by Treveon Graham with 0.9 on the clock secured the victory for the Rams. Milik Yarbrough leads Saint Louis with 10.5 ppg, while Ash Yacoubou leads the team with 5.3 rpg.
