FAIRFAX, Va. – Bailey Kolonich has been selected as the Atlantic 10 Cross Country Women's Rookie of the Week after her performance at the Duquesne Duals on Saturday.
The freshman from Springfield, Virginia finished first for the Patriots and 8th overall with an impressive time of 18:49.3. Kolonich brings a lot of success to George Mason after being named All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State in cross country at Robert E. Lee high school.
The Patriots travel to New Market, Virginia on Saturday, September 13 for the James Madison Invitational next.
