George Mason women's volleyball wraps up non-conference play this weekend at the Red Flash Classic hosted by St. Francis (Pa.).
First up, the Patriots will take on Loyola (Md.) Friday evening with a start time of 5:00 p.m. Loyola comes into the weekend looking to snap a five-match losing streak at 1-9 on the season. Friday marks the 10th meeting between the two squads with Mason holding a commanding 9-0 series lead.
Saturday afternoon, the Patriots take on the host Red Flash with first serve planned for 1:00 p.m. St. Francis is also looking to snap a losing streak, having dropped its last three matches. This is the third meeting between St. Francis and Mason with the Red Flash holding a 2-0 all-time series lead.
Mason will then wrap up their weekend and non-conference play against Morgan State at approximately 5:00 p.m. Saturday. The Bears come into the weekend 5-5 on the season after a 3-0 weekend at the Annual Friar Classic. This is just the second meeting between Morgan State and the Patriots with Mason winning the 1999 matchup.
