FAIRFAX, Va. - George Mason baseball has announced the date of the 14th annual George Mason Baseball Classic golf outing, which will take place on Friday, October 3 at South Riding Golf Club.

The event is a great opportunity for family and friends of the baseball team to enjoy a day on the course with food and prizes while supporting the program. On the day of the event, registration will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the driving range opening at noon and a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.

The format for the event will be a four-person captain's choice with entrance fees set at $150 per person or $600 per foursome. Entry includes range balls, golf cart with GPS system, greens fees, lunch, beverages, dinner, souvenir gifts, raffle tickets, South Riding Golf Club Merchandise and golf coupons. Additionally, several sponsorship opportunities are available and can be found with the registration forms. The entry deadline is September 26.

Contests include longest drive, a closest to pin and a double your money challenge. Awards go out to the top-three foursomes and there will be prizes on several contest holes.
