MEN'S BASKETBALL FOREIGN TOUR 2014
DAY ONE: VALENCIA

The George Mason men's basketball team departed Tuesday afternoon for its 2014 foreign tour to Spain. After a flight delay in Dulles, the Patriots stopped briefly in Paris before catching a connecting flight to Valencia where they met their first tour guide for the trip, Julia.

Upon arrival to Spain, the Patriots visited Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences and El Saler for lunch before checking into the team hotel in downtown Valencia. The Patriots enjoyed a team dinner at Raco del Turia, featuring several Spanish dishes including the main course of paella - a Valencian rice dish.

Tomorrow, the Patriots will take a guided tour of Valencia before prepping for the first of four games.
