FAIRFAX, Va. - College Sports Madness has named four Mason men's soccer players to its Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference team.

Junior Taylor Washington and sophomore Steffen Kraus both earned first team preseason honors at defense and goalkeeper, respectively. Washington earned first team All-Conference honors last season while Kraus was named to the A-10 Second Team in 2013 and took home the conference Rookie of the Year award.

Senior Timi Mulgrew was named to the College Sports Madness Preseason A-10 second team at midfield and junior Jannik Eckenrode was also named to the second team at forward. Eckenrode tied for a team-high five goals last season where as Mulgrew contributed four goals and three assists along with a team-high 22 shots on goal.

The Patriots begin the preseason with a 7:00 p.m. exhibition match vs. Villanova on Tuesday, August 19 at George Mason Stadium. Mason kicks off the regular season with the Kuykenstrong D.C. College Cup at American University on Friday, August 29 with a 2:00 p.m. match against Howard.
