Bryon Allen to Participate in Pre-Draft NBA Workout with Utah Jazz

FAIRFAX, Va. – Former George Mason Patriot Bryon Allen will participate in Monday's pre-draft workouts for the NBA's Utah Jazz as part of the prospect workouts for the team.

Allen will join seven other prospects in two workout sessions in Markel Brown (Oklahoma State), C.J. Fair (Syracuse), Noah Vonleh (Indiana), David Wear (UCLA), Jamil Wilson (Marquette), John Bohannon (UTEP) and Jarred Shaw (Utah State). The NBA Draft will take place June 26 with the Jazz holding the 5th overall pick as well as the 23rd and 35th selections.

Allen capped his collegiate career as a Patriot leading the team in assists (87) and steals (28). The Largo, Md., native finished his senior season with an 83.6 free throw percentage and was second on the team in scoring, averaging 15.4 points per game. Allen became the program's 33rd player in program history to cross the 1,000-career points mark in March. He finished the season 11th in the Atlantic 10 in scoring (15.4 ppg), 11th in assists (87/3.0 apg) and third in free throw percentage (.836). Allen finished his collegiate career with 1,048 points, 380 assists and 112 steals in 127 games.
