Rising Mason sophomore Tiffany Clarke won a Bronze medal as part of the Jamaican women's volleyball team at the FIVB NORCECA qualifiers in Canada after defeating the US Virgin Islands in straight sets.
“This was a great opportunity for Tiffany to not only represent her home country, but Mason as well,” Patriots' head coach Pat Kendrick said. “Having the chance to compete over the summer against other national teams will allow her to hone her competitive skills for the upcoming season.”
Clarke, who has competed for her native Jamaica's senior team since 2012, competed as a starter in pool play matches against Mexico and the US Virgin Islands and subbed in against Canada.
On the tournament, the 6'3” right side hitter had four points, seven digs and two kills as the Jamaican squad went 1-2 in pool play and 2-2 overall including the bronze medal match.
