The Patriots track and field team is set to send contingents to William and Mary, Stanford and the University of Florida this weekend to compete against some of the top competition in the country.

The largest group will be in Gainesville,FL. for the Florida Relays, where Mason is sending sprinters, hurdlers and several field athletes as well. Competition begins Thursday evening when Michelle Wallerstedt competes in the women's discus.

Mason sends the majority of its distance runners to W&M for the Colonial Relays where competition begins at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.

Bethany Sachtleben will be the lone Patriot competing at the Stanford Invitational where she'll compete in the women's 10,000m run for just the third time in her career.
