The George Mason men's basketball team meets George Washington for the second time this season as part of the Revolutionary Rivalry on Sunday in Washington, D.C. Tip time is slated for 1 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBCSN, but will be joined in progress after the conclusion of the English Premier League match. The game will be shown in its entirety on the NBC Sports Live Extra online stream and mobile app.
The teams opened the home-and-home series in Fairfax in January with the Colonials taking the decision, 75-69, behind a strong second half. GW is 12-1 at home in the Smith Center this season with its only loss coming against UMass by six points. GW will be coming into the contest with a week off after dropping a decision at Saint Louis on Feb. 22. Five players average double-figure scoring numbers for the Colonials this season.
Mason is coming off its first home A-10 win of the season after a 69-60 victory over Richmond on Wednesday. Richmond and GW are now currently tied for fifth place in the A-10 standings.
The winner will earn a point in the inaugural Revolutionary Rivalry, an annual competition between the A-10 rivals separated by less than 20 miles. Mason currently leads the competition, 6-5.
