The George Mason men's volleyball team opens EIVA play when it travels to Fairfield, Connecticut and then Cambridge, Massachusetts to play Sacred Heart and Harvard.  The weekend road trip will be on Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16.  The Patriots are coming off two losses against Ball State and IPFW.

MENS VOLLEYBALL at Sacred Heart

Records: Mason (4-4); Sacred Heart (4-5)

NOTES:

This will be the seventh time these two teams meet.  The Patriots have won their last two matches against the Pioneers.  Mason has an overall record of 4-2 against Sacred Heart.

Sacred Heart comes into this match with a record of 4-5.  After losing to Harvard, the Pioneers won their last match against NJIT 3-2.  Before playing Mason, Sacred Heart will take on Princeton on February 14.

Senior, Brad Borsay leads Sacred Heart with 95 total kills on the season.  Rj Uhlir has dished out a team-high 210 assists this season.  Meanwhile, Austin Arcala leads the Pioneers with 65 digs on defense.

NOTES:

This will be the tenth time these two teams meet.  The Patriots lost 3-2 last time against Harvard in the EIVA semi-finals last season.  However, Mason has an overall record of 9-2 against the Crimson.

Harvard comes into this match with a record of 2-3.  After losing three in a row, the Crimson have won two straight matches against MIT and Sacred Heart.  Harvard will play Princeton on Thursday, February 13.

Junior, Dj White leads Harvard with 41 total kills.  Nick Bendell has a team-high 135 assists this season.  Meanwhile, Chris Gibbons leads the team with 32 digs on defense.
