Returning to action after the exam break, the George Mason men's basketball team welcomes Catawba to the RAC on Wednesday for a non-conference tilt. The Patriots and Indians have never faced each other in program history.

Mason is coming off an overtime loss at Northern Iowa on December 6. Mason took undefeated UNI into overtime after sophomore Marquise Moore nailed two free throws with two seconds left in regulation. Moore posted his second straight 20-point game finishing with 20 points and a career-high nine rebounds in Iowa. Moore is averaging 10.5 ppg on the season, while junior Shevon Thompson leads the team with a 10.6 rebounds per game average.

Catawba travels to Tusculum on Monday before visiting Fairfax on Wednesday. The Indians are 5-3 after defeating Tusculum and are led by three players averaging double-figure scoring numbers. Jerrin Morrison leads the team with a 18.3 ppg average, while Rakeen Brown and KJ Arrington both average over 16.0 ppg. Arrington leads the team on the boards, pulling down 7.8 rpg on average.
