George Mason women's basketball opens the UMKC Plaza Lights Classic Friday facing Albilene Christian at 4:30 p.m. EST. This will be the first meeting between the Patriots and Wildcats.

Mason is coming off an 84-79 loss at Navy in their first road game of the season. Redshirt junior Taylor Brown led all scorers with 27 points as classmate, Kristi Mokube, set career highs in scoring (19) and rebounds (8).

The Wildcats come into the weekend fresh off a 79-72 win over Eastern Washington. ACU is led by sophomore twins, Suzzy and Lizzy Dimba who average 13.5 and 15.8 points per game, respectively.
