George Mason men's basketball games will broadcast select games locally on 106.7 The Fan (WJFK-FM), announced by Mason athletic director Brad Edwards. The station will carry 12 regular-season games.

The broadcast schedule begins this Sunday, November 16 at 1:00 p.m. when the team hosts Princeton at the Patriot Center. The station will carry two other non-conference games in December against Catawba and at Oklahoma before airing nine of the 18 Atlantic 10 conference games beginning in January.

106.7 The Fan (WJFK-FM) serves the Washington, D.C. area with a top-rated lineup of local sports personalities including The Sports Junkies, Grant Paulsen and Danny Rouhier, and Chad Dukes. 106.7 The Fan is also the area's leader for play by play sports, broadcasting play by play of the Washington Nationals, Capitals, National Football League, and Virginia Tech football and basketball. The station is owned and operated by CBS RADIO.

Bill Rohland will be the voice of the Patriots for the 10th straight season, his 16th overall with the program, having served as color analyst for six seasons. George Mason men's basketball legend Lamar Butler will handle color commentary in his first season on air with Mason.

Butler played for the Patriots from 2001-06 as Mason compiled an overall record of 101-53 during his time on the court, which included two NIT appearances and the historic run to the Final Four. Butler finished his career just shy of reaching the 1,500-career points mark as the local native scored 1,488 points during his collegiate career. He currently resides in Maryland and owns a sporting goods company, Sports Heaven USA.

Rohland is currently in his 6th year as a talk show host for 106.7 The Fan.  He has been in the sports talk radio business for nearly 20 years, working on the radio broadcasts for all four major sports from the NBA's Washington Wizards (producer and pre/post game host) NHL's Washington Capitals (game day producer) NFL's Baltimore Ravens (studio host) and MLB's Washington Nationals (post game host).  Rohland has also worked as a sports anchor for both CBS Radio and for Sirius/XM.

All George Mason games will be audio streamed on the official website of George Mason Athletics, GoMason.com and on the official GoMason Mobile apps.
