After a seven-game road swing and over a month on the road, the George Mason women's soccer team returns to Fairfax to open a three-game homestand. The Patriots welcome A-10 foes Saint Louis and Dayton to George Mason Stadium this weekend. Sunday's match against Dayton will also serve as Mason's Pink Game. Wear your pink to the game in support of breast cancer awareness.
Mason is coming off a pair of overtime draws to open conference play this past weekend, traveling to UMass and Rhode Island. Eight different Patriots have scored this season, while goalkeeper Laura Glew earned both starts over the weekend, recording 11 saves over the two games.
Saint Louis comes into weekend action after opening conference play falling in overtime to Dayton, 3-2. Kirsten Clemens owns six goals on the season to lead the Billikens, while Hanna Benben has recorded 48 saves in 11 matches to tie for fourth in the league.
Dayton visits Saint Joseph's on Friday before making the trip to Fairfax on Sunday. Ashley Campbell leads the team's offense with seven goals on the season to tie for third in the league. Goalkeeper Elizabeth James has played 11 games in goal, accumulating 41 saves and a 2.10 goals-against-average.
