The George Mason women's soccer team plays its final regular season home game this Friday night, kicking off a double-header with the men's soccer team hosting Saint Joseph's at 5 p.m. Mason's seven seniors will be recognized prior to the start of the match: Paige Babel, Emily Harvey, Liz Hodges, Karina Irizarry, Briana Kottler, Danielle O'Brien and Kelly Pizzingrilli.


Mason is coming off a pair of road games this past weekend, going 1-1 as Liz Hodges led Mason to a 1-0 victory at Fordham on Sunday. The senior scored in overtime to push the Patriots past the Rams. Hodges leads the team with four goals on the season.

Saint Joseph's heads into the weekend with an 0-3 league mark on the road. Emily Gingrich paces the offense with 13 goals, while goalkeeper Allison Ebling has recorded 70 saves and a 1.16 GAA.

The George Mason men's soccer team hosts its final game of the season on Friday, October 31 in a #RevRivalry matchup against George Washington at 7 p.m. following the women's game at 5 p.m. The two schools first played in 1968 with Mason holding a 24-11-3 all-time series advantage. The Patriots won last year's matchup, 2-0 in Arlington.

The strong season continued for senior Timi Mulgrew last weekend, who will be honored in Friday's senior day ceremonies prior to the match. Mulgrew scored both goals to lead Mason past a 1-0 deficit and defeat Davidson 2-1 in overtime on Saturday. The senior has recorded 12 goals this season which is currently tied for the second most in NCAA Division 1. His six game-winning goals are tied for first in the nation.

George Washington enters the match with a conference record of 2-2-1, currently sixth in the A-10.The Colonials most recently fell at Duquesne on Sunday by the score of 4-0. Christian Lawal and Jonny Forrest lead the team with three goals while JP van der Merwe has started every game in net.
