Box Score The George Mason Women's volleyball team wrapped up its October home stand Saturday night, falling to Saint Louis in straight sets (25-9; 25-12; 25-23) at the RAC in Mason's annual Dig Pink night.
The match was closer than the score appears with the lead changing hands five times, with the Patriots leading at least once in each set. There were also 13 ties in the overall match, eight of those coming in the closely contested third set.
Jessie Greenslade led the Patriots with eight kills for eight points, while freshman Kelly Schaller contributed a team-high 11 assists. Lola Owokoniran and Morghan Martin each added four kills on the night
Nenye Okoro led Saint Louis in points with 12.5 on .409 hitting. Josie Gandal was right being her with 11.5 points on 10 kills and assisting on three blocks.
Next up, the Patriots head to Richmond to take on VCU Oct. 17in the first leg of a five-match, three-week road stretch before returning to Fairfax to take on Davidson November 7.
