The George Mason women's soccer team closes out non-conference play on Sunday, welcoming former league foe Delaware to George Mason Stadium.
Mason looks to snap a two-game skid and pick up its third home win of the season welcoming the Blue Hens. The Patriots, meeting their second CAA foe this week, are coming off a 2-1 loss at James Madison. Jazmin Cardoso scored the lone goal for Mason in front of her hometown crowd, but the Dukes answered with two goals to seal the win late.
Delaware comes into the Sunday matinee on a five-game win streak having picked up its firt conference win of the season most recently. The Blue Hens visited the Towson Tigers, taking the decision 1-0. Delaware is 2-4 in road games. Shannon Kearney paces the offense with four goals on the season.
