Coming off its second win of the season, the George Mason women's soccer team hits the road for one game, meeting Loyola on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Baltimore.
Mason picked up its second shutout this season at home, defeating former conference foe Old Dominion, 3-0, Saturday night. Kelly Pizzingrilli scored the first goal of the game, proving to be the game-winner, before Liz Hodges and Karina Irizarry cushioned Mason's lead in the second half. Hodges leads the Patriots with two goals on the season as Lyndse Hokanson has accumulated 19 saves in net for a .731 save percentage.
Loyola comes into Tuesday's meeting with a 1-4-1 record after falling at La Salle, 4-0, on Sunday. The Greyhounds opened the season with a victory at Towson before dropping four decisions at playing to a draw against UMBC. Charlotte Miller owns a team-best two goals, while Didi Haracic and Colleen Folan have split time in net.
