FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team reported to campus August 6 and after getting preliminary information out of the way, took the pitch the following day. In the midst of two-a-days, GoMason.com caught up with 10th-year head coach Diane Drake, senior captain Lyndse Hokanson and freshman Anna Ludwick to see how preseason has been going.
Mason returns 20 letterwinners including nine starters from last season's squad that lost four letterwinners to graduation. Completing this season's roster are 11 newcomers to the squad.
The Patriots play their first exhibition is less than a week, taking on Liberty at George Mason Stadium on Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. The first regular season game takes place Aug. 25 at William and Mary at 7 p.m.
