QUINCY, Mass. – Volleyball Magazine recently announced its 2013 All-America teams, and George Mason senior Mark Jones was named to the third team.
The award adds to an impressive senior season for Jones after he was recognized as the Uvaldo Acosta Memorial EIVA Co-Player of the Year in addition to being named first team all-conference.
He finished the season appearing in 24 matches for the Patriots and over a total of 89 sets played averaged 3.30 kills (294), 0.20 service aces (18), 1.49 digs (133) and 0.47 blocks (42).
Jones also ended his time at Mason ranked in several career records, including kills (1,030 – 5th), digs (430, 8th) and service aces (67, 6th).
