The Patriots play a pair of non-conference games this week, hosting Longwood to wrap up a nine-game homestand before kicking off an eight-game road trip on Wednesday at Temple.

Mason is 13-28 on the season and was most recently swept by No. 25 UNCW over the weekend. Blaise Fernandez leads the Mason offense, hitting .364 with 15 doubles, two triples, two home runs, 19 RBI's and 23 runs scored. He has reached base safely in 48 consecutive games dating back to last season, the longest active streak in the nation.\

The hot-hitting Josh Leemhuis led the Mason offense last week, going 12-for-21 (.571) with four doubles, a triple, seven RBI's and five runs scored in five starts.

Looking at Longwood
The Lancers are 20-21 this season, and enter Tuesday's affair with a three-game winning streak. Mason and Longwood met earlier this season, as the Lancers rallied from a 5-0 deficit to win, 9-5 in Farmville. However, the Patriots own a slim advantage in the all-time series, 6-5.

The Lancers receive a balanced offensive attack from its lineup, as Colton Konvicka is hitting a team-best .313, while Scott Burkett (.303) leads the team with 44 hits, Alex Owens has a team-best 25 RBI's and 14 doubles, and Brandon Delk tops the team with 25 runs scored.

Tackling Temple
Temple enters the week with a record of 14-20, and will host Villanova on Tuesday before welcoming the Patriots on Wednesday. It will be the fifth all-time meeting between the two squads, with Mason leading the series 3-1.

Henry Knabe paces the Hawks offense, hitting .346 with 44 hits and 25 RBI's, while Derek Peterson has a team-leading 11 doubles and 22 RBI's, and Jordan Queja leads the team with 29 runs scored.
