The Patriots tennis team defeated Mount St. Mary's 4-3 today in Emmitsburg, Md. Mason improved to 8-4 on the season.

The doubles point was notched by the Patriots after winning the top two matches. In singles action, the Green and Gold took the top two matches and the No. 4 match.

Jordan Dyke defeated Matt Blake, 6-3, 6-2 in the top singles match. Mason's Jimmy Davis has been tough to beat at No. 2 singles as he won his seventh straight match. Aaron Capitel won at No. 4 singles against the Mount's Austin Blake, 6-4, 6-1.

The Patriots will travel to Washington, DC to play Howard on March 26 at 2:30 p.m.
