WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The George Mason track and field distance and field athletes kept the strong start to the 2013 spring season going, competing at the William and Mary Tribe Open over the weekend.

Junior Dominique Graham won the high jump with an ECAC-qualifying height of 1.71m, and the Patriots recorded one more ECAC and two IC4A qualifying marks in addition to 23 PR's at the meet.

Also posting an ECAC qualifying mark for the women was freshman Michelle Wallerstedt, finishing fourth in the discus with a PR of 43.33m. On the men's side seniors Everett Hackett and Sean Nestor qualified for the IC4A Outdoor Championships in the 10,000m. Hackett finished third in a time of 30:02.02, while Nestor placed seventh with a PR time of 30:56.45.

Mason also competed at the W&L/VMI Track Carnival this weekend, and results are available at gomason.com.

The Patriots return to the track next weekend again in split squad action, competing at the Fred Hardy Invitational at the University of Richmond and the Raleigh Relays at N.C. State.
