Men's Tennis Improves to 7-2

Mason men's tennis won their fourth straight match and are undefeated at 3-0 during Springfest on Hilton Head after defeating Limestone, 6-1.

The Patriots won two of the three doubles matches to garner a point. The team of Jimmy Davis and Taylor Sargent defeated Limestone's team Le Dore/Lopez, 8-2 at No. 2. Mason's Chris Borden and Nick Barker handed Limestone's No. 3 team a 8-5 setback.

In singles action, Mason won matches No. 2-6. Only one match went to the tiebreaker, Mason's Taylor Baine defeated Lucas Guinski at No. 3 singles, 6-4. 5-7, (10-7). At No. 2 singles, Jimmy Davis defeated Rafael Ferla, 7-6(5), 6-3 and has gone undefeated (3-0) on the Spring Break trip.

The Patriots will play their final match of the Springfest on Friday morning against South Carolina State.
