NEWS & NOTES
The George Mason women's basketball team closes out this two-game stretch visiting Georgia State for a Sunday matinee in Atlanta. The Patriots look to avenge a loss to the Panthers in Fairfax to close out the regular season series against GSU. The meeting also marks the final time the two squads will meet each other as CAA foes as Georgia State will join the Sun Belt Conference next season.

Georgia State has dropped its previous two games, both on the road at UNCW and Northeastern. The Panthers, currently 2-5 at home in conference play this season, is led by Kendra Long who averages 10.4 points per game, while Cody Paulk secures 8.3 rebounds per game to lead the Panthers.

Georgia State took the first meeting between the two squads this season in Fairfax by a 64-52 decision. Mason will look for its first win in Atlanta since 2010.
