Fairfax, VA– George Mason men's basketball legend Ric Wilson returns as color analyst on Patriots men's basketball broadcasts for the 2013-14 season, teaming up once again with play-by-play veteran Bill Rohland. The voice of the Patriots Rohland and Wilson were the team's broadcast team for four straight seasons, 2006-07 through 2009-10.

A 1986 graduate of George Mason, Wilson played for the Patriots from 1982-86. The Patriots had a 74-42 record during his time on the court and a career full of firsts. In his sophomore season, the Patriots earned the program's first 20-win season and in his final year with Mason, he was a part of the team that garnered their first post season berth and victory, defeating Lamar in the NIT.

Wilson ranks in the top 12 in six statistical categories at Mason, including 12th in scoring all-time with 1,505, 11th in steals with 127 and third in assists with 405. In 1984 Wilson was a member of the ECAC South all-conference first team and second team in 1985. As a senior Wilson earned All-CAA conference honors making the second team.

Rohland is entering his 15th season with the Patriots, the last eight seasons as the play-by-play announcer. He served as color analyst for Mason for six seasons.

The broadcast schedule begins Friday, November 8 at 7:00 pm when the team opens the 2013-14 season at home against American University. All George Mason basketball games will be audio streamed on the official website of George Mason athletics, GoMason.com and on the official GoMason Mobile Apps.
