FAIRFAX, Va. - For the second time this season, freshman goalkeeper Steffen Kraus has earned Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week honors as announced on Monday.

Mason played two games over the weekend, both of which resulted in victories for Kraus and the Patriots. Mason held on for a 2-1 win over Rhode Island on Friday where Kraus made six saves, and a 2-0 shutout victory over conference rival George Washington on Sunday, Kraus' seventh such game of the season.

Kraus has started all 14 games this season for the Green and Gold, allowing a total of 9 goals for a goals-against-average of 0.61 that ranks among the top of NCAA Division 1 goalkeepers and is tops in the A-10. He has accumulated a save percentage of .791 and a 9-2-3 record this season.

Kraus and the rest of the team returns to action on Friday, November 8 in Philadelphia, Pa. when travel to take on the Duquesne Dukes at 7 p.m.
