The George Mason women's volleyball team hits the road for the final weekend of the regular season, traveling to the University of Dayton on Friday night. Mason is looking to avenge a 3-0 defeat at the hands of the Flyers 13 days earlier.
Mason snapped a six-match winless streak with a 3-1 victory over Fordham last Saturday on Senior Night. The Patriots are led on offense by Morghan Martin's 225 kills, while classmates Bernetta Moore and Lolade Owokoniran lead the team with 369 digs and 122 blocks, respectively. Martin has also served a team-high 18 aces, while Moore is tops in the Atlantic 10 in digs per set (4.56).
Dayton has won its last two matches, including a sweep of La Salle last Saturday in Dayton. Megan Campbell paces the Flyer offense with 234 kills and 118 blocks while Janna Krafka has 382 digs. Campbell is the conference leader in blocks per set at 1.37.
Following Friday's match, the Patriots visit the Saint Louis Billikens on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m., to wrap up the 2013 season.
