Coming off a road win at Lamar, the George Mason men's basketball team returns home to welcome Northern Iowa for a Saturday tilt. The two squads meet for the third time in program history, most recently last season with UNI taking the decision in overtime, 82-77.

Marko Gujanicic recorded his first double-double of the season at Lamar Tuesday night, posting 11 points and 10 rebounds to help lead the Patriots to a 68-54 victory. Four Patriots scored in double-figures as Mason opened the campaign 2-0. Sherrod Wright and Patrick Holloway led Mason offensively, each with 13 points.

Northern Iowa opened the season falling at Ohio before picking up its first win of the season, defeating Coe College, 86-52. Four Panthers average double-figures between the two games, led by Chip Rank with a 16.0 ppg average. Marvin Singleton leads UNI on the glass, pulling down an average of 13.0 rpg thus far.
