NEWS & NOTES
The Mason men return to action and have their second attemp at beginning Atlantic 10 Conference play on Sunday when they take on the UMass Minutement. Friday's match against Rhode Island was called off in the 55th minute due to heavy rain and poor field condition. Before Friday the Patriots last played Hartford, winning 1-0 on September 28 in Connecticut.
Wes Sever continues to lead the Patriots in goals and points this season with four and nine, respectively. Mason as an offense is outscoring their opponents 9-6 this season while also out-shooting their opponents 87-62.
The Minutemen are 1-9-0 on the season, including 0-6-0 on the road. Umass had their first A-10 match of the season on Friday, falling to VCU 4-0. Josh Schwartz leads the team with four goals and ten points.
