As the 'second' season of women's soccer begins this weekend, the George Mason Patriots travel to Drexel for a Friday night contest before visiting Delaware on Sunday.
Mason closes out this six-game road swing opening CAA play this weekend coming off a 2-0 loss at nationally-ranked Marquette. Tiana Kallenberger, who ranks second in the league in goals scored, leads Mason offensively with a team-best six goals on the season. Liz Hodges follows with three goals. Lyndse Hokanson and Briana Kottler have split time in net, combining for 37 saves and a 1.88 goals against average.
Drexel enters Friday's matchup on a three-game win streak with its only loss of the campaign coming in the season-opener at Longwood. Five Dragons each own two goals apiece on the team, while primary goalkeeper Eve Badana has earned all eight starts, recording 22 saves and a 0.75 goals against average, the fourth lowest in the league.
Delaware opens league play facing Towson on Friday before hosting Mason for a Sunday matinee. The Blue Hens enter conference play coming off a 1-0 win at LIU Brooklyn and are led by Anna Lenczyk with two goals on the season, while four additional Blue Hens own one goal apiece. Jessica Levy and Jess Figuero have combined in net for 16 saves and a 1.00 goals against average.
