The George Mason women's volleyball team opens the 2012 season on Saturday, traveling to the Nation's Capital to take part in the annual D.C. Volleyball Challenge ... Mason opens with a neutral-site match against Georgetown at 1 p.m. before facing the host American Eagles at 7 p.m. ... Mason was picked to finish seventh in the CAA Preseason Poll by a vote of the league's head coaches ... Junior outside hitter Lana Zonjic was named a Preseason All-CAA honorable mention after earning third team honors last year ... The Patriots welcome four freshmen to the squad this season ...
