You can help the Patriots fly overseas when the George Mason women's soccer team hosts a fundraising and silent auction event on Saturday, November 17 at The Greene Turtle in Fairfax, Va.

In March 2013, Mason women's soccer is planning an international trip to Spain, Portugal and France to compete against some of the world's best teams. Additionally, this international trip will serve as a bonding experience for the team when they experience international culture, diversity and playing styles in a foreign country. As mandated by NCAA Bylaws, a sport may take a foreign tour once every four years.

To help prepare for this trip, women's soccer needs to meet a goal of raising $12,000 and as part of their fundraising, will host a special evening at The Greene Turtle in Fairfax. Patrons will have the opportunity to support the cause or bid on several auction packages.

For more information, please view the event flyer or contact Assistant Coach Ashly Kennedy at (703) 993-3213 or via email at akennede@gmu.edu or Assistant Director of the Patriot Club, Bridgette Rupe at (703) 993-4147 or brupe@gmu.edu
