ERIE, Pa. - George Mason men's volleyball junior middle
blocker Piotr Dabrowski was named the EIVA Defensive Player of the Week as
announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
This is the third honor for Dabrowski this season.
Dabrowski led the Patriots at the net during 3-0 sweeps of
both NJIT and Rutgers-Newark. He had a game-high eight blocks in both matches,
while also registering three kills.
This season, Dabrowski ranks fourth nationally and second in
the conference with an average of 1.53 blocks/set.
The Patriots return to action on Saturday, hosting NJIT at
7:00 pm.
