PRINCETON, N.J. - The George Mason track & field team
competed at the Princeton University Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday,
competing in the evening distance events.
Continuing his strong senior campaign, Everett Hackett led
the men's team with a 12th-place finish in the 5000m, crossing the
line in 14:11.86. Also running in the 5000m were juniors Phillip Blankenship (15:09.64) and
John Holt (15:09.64).
Other competitors for the men included junior Cody Raphael and freshman
David Klimek in the 800m run and senior Robert Reynolds in the 1500m run. Raphael
finished the 800m in a time of 1:53.04, while Klimek recorded a season-best
time of 1:56.58 in the same event. Reynolds crossed the line in the 1500m with
a time of 4:07.35.
For the women, senior Nao Ma ran the 1500m, recording a
season-best time of 4:41.30 en route to finishing seventh in her heat and Petyon Lowe finished in 17:45.39in the 5000m run.
