George Mason and Northeastern will meet for the second time this season on Thursday evening as the Patriots will look to avenge a loss to the Huskies in the first matchup of the season. Knotted at 7-all in the all-time series, Mason defeated Northeastern last season in the Patriot Center, 77-55.

The Patriots are coming off a tough loss at James Madison on Sunday, falling to the Dukes by a 49-45 margin. Rahneeka Saunders posted her first career double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Taleia Moton led the team in scoring with 13 points. Evelyn Lewis leads Mason on the glass, averaging 6.2 rebounds per game.

Northeastern arrives in Fairfax on a two-game skid, most recently falling to Drexel, 63-41. The Huskies are led in scoring by two players averaging double figures with Deanna Kerkhof leading the way with a 13.8 points per game average, while Jewel Tunstull follows with a 12.8 ppg average. Tunstull also leads on the boards, pulling down 7.0 per game on average.
