In the regular season finale, the George Mason women's basketball team welcomes James Madison on Wednesday as seniors Amber Epps, Evelyn Lewis and Taleia Moton will take the Patriot Center floor for the final time donning the Green and Gold.
Coming off a 69-59 victory at VCU, Taleia Moton and Amber Easter combined for 35 points in Richmond to lead Mason. Moton continues to lead Mason offensively this season, owning a 20.9 points per game average, while Easter contributes 11.4 points on average and leads the Patriots on the boards with a 6.4 rebounds per game average.
James Madison has secured the No. 2 seed in the upcoming CAA Women's Basketball tournament and enters Wednesday's matchup having taken the first meeting between the two schools this season. Madison is led in scoring by three players averaging double-figures. Tarik Hislop averages 14.6 points per game, while Kirby Burkholder and Jasmine Gill each add over 10 points a game. Lauren Whitehurst and Nikki Newman pace JMU on the glass, securing 7.4 rebounds each per game.
