In the middle of a three-game road swing, the George Mason women's basketball team will look to rebound from a loss at ODU traveling to Drexel for a Thursday night matchup. The teams met once last season with the home Patriots taking the decision.
Mason is coming off a tough loss at Old Dominion, falling to the Lady Monarchs 71-68 on Sunday. Three Patriots scored in double-digits led by Taleia Moton's game-high 28 points. Moton leads the team on the season owning a 21.7 points per game average, while Amber Easter also averages double figures at 11.4 ppg. Moton ranks third in scoring in the league and 10th nationally. Pulling down 6.2 rebounds per game on average, Evelyn Lewis leads Mason on the glass.
Drexel has dropped two of its past three contests, falling most recently to Hofstra, 68-61. The Dragons are paced in scoring this season by Kamile Nacickaite and Hollie Mershon with 17.5 and 15.3 points per game averages, respectively. Mershon also leads on the boards with a 5.3 rpg average. Nacickaite and Mershon both rank in the top 10 in scoring in the league.
