WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - George Mason women's soccer seniors Tiana
Kallenberger and Mary Kate Lowry were recognized Thursday night by the Colonial
Athletic Association earning All-CAA Second Team honors. The honorees, selected
based on a vote of the league's head coaches, were announced on the eve of the
semifinals of the CAA Women's Soccer Championship hosted by William and Mary.
A second team selection last season, Kallenberger led the
Patriots offensively all season and finished her senior campaign with a
team-best eight goals and five assists (21 points). Kallenberger currently
ranks in the top 10 in the league in points, points per game (1.11), goals (8),
goals per game (0.42), assists (5) and assists per game (0.26). The Irvine,
Calif. native recorded two game-winning goals coming against American and
George Washington. This marks Kallenberger's third All-CAA selection as the team
captain was tabbed to the second team last season and was named third team and
All-Rookie following her freshman campaign.
Joining her fellow captain Kallenberger on the second team
was Lowry, a native of Mechanicsburg, Pa. Lowry started in 17 matches her final
season as a Patriot and scored a goal at Navy. Last season Lowry picked up
third team honors after helping Mason to six shutouts on the back line.
This marks the seventh consecutive season the Patriots have
placed at least one player on the All-CAA squad.

selected as the women's soccer Player of the Year for the second consecutive
season. Also receiving top honors from the conference were Drexel sophomore
