The George Mason women's soccer team closes out the 2012 regular season Wednesday night welcoming the Towson Tigers in a Colonial Athletic Association matchup. The Patriots hold an eight-match win streak over the Tigers, dating back to 2003.
Mason is coming off a weekend split defeating Georgia State Friday night, 2-1, before falling to UNCW on Sunday. Tiana Kallenberger, who ranks fifth in the CAA in points, leads Mason with a team-best 20 points (8g, 4a). Liz Hodges follows Kallenberger with six goals. Lyndse Hokanson has made 53 saves on the year in net.
Towson's last win came against conference foe Old Dominion in late September and enters the midweek matchup coming off a double-overtime draw against Georgia State. Cheyenne Skidmore and Emily Banes lead the Tigers with four goals each on the season. Goalkeeper Erin Quinn has accumulated 109 saves in 17 games in net, which ranks 18th in the nation.
