2012-13 Men's Basketball Television Schedule Unveiled

ARLINGTON, Va. - The George Mason men's basketball team will be featured on television at least 19 times during the 2012-13 season, as the full broadcast schedule was announced in conjunction with the Colonial Athletic Association's Basketball Media Day on Tuesday. Of those games, 10 will be played before a national television audience.

The Patriots will be featured seven times on the NBC Sports Network, three times on the CBS Sports Network, along with eight games on Comcast SportsNet during conference play. In addition, the Patriots' contest against Maryland in the BB&T Classic on December 2 will be televised by the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN).

Mason will be featured on CBS Sports Network three times, including the home game against Delaware on Saturday, February 9 at 2 p.m. Road games at Rhode Island (Nov. 28, 8 p.m.) and Drexel (Feb. 14, 7 p.m.) will also be carried live on the network.

The Patriots' home games against James Madison (Jan. 15, 7 p.m.), Georgia State (Feb. 16, 4 p.m.), William & Mary (Feb. 23, 4 p.m.) and Towson (Feb. 26, 7 p.m.) will be televised on Comcast SportsNet, while four road games will also be broadcast on the regional network. Those games are at William & Mary (Jan. 5, 2 p.m.), UNCW (Jan. 12, 2 p.m.), at Northeastern (Jan. 27, 8 p.m.) and at James Madison (Feb. 2, 4 p.m.).

Last week, NBC Sports Network announced that it would carry seven of the Patriots' games this season, including home contests against Northern Iowa (Dec. 8, 6 p.m.), Northeastern (Jan. 3, 7 p.m.), Old Dominion (Jan. 10, 7 p.m.), Hofstra (Jan. 19, 5 p.m.) and Drexel (Jan. 31, 7 p.m.). Mason's road games at Old Dominion (Feb. 4, 7 p.m.) and Delaware (Mar. 2, 2 p.m.) will also be broadcast live on NBCSN.

The Patriots will also broadcast several games on MASN, the official cable partner of Mason for the past six seasons, which will be announced at a later date.
