The George Mason men's basketball team opens a grueling stretch of three out of four CAA games on the road Thursday night at Old Dominion ... Old Dominion is one of three CAA teams in addition to the Patriots with a perfect 2-0 start to conference play, while they stand at 7-7 overall. In their last action, the Monarchs came away with a 67-61 overtime win over JMU in Harrisonburg on Monday while they also won on the road at Northeastern, 69-59, in December. Averaging just shy of 64 points per game, Kent Bazemore leads the ODU offense as the CAA Preseason Player of the Year contributes 13.4 points per game, while Chris Cooper averages a double-double at 10.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per outing ... Following Thursday's game, Mason concludes its busy week with a home game on Saturday evening, playing host to Georgia State at 7 p.m.
