The George Mason men's basketball team closes out a three-game homestand and looks to stay atop the Colonial Athletic Association standings when it hosts UNCW Monday night. The Patriots have taken victories in each of the last seven matchups against their longtime CAA rival and lead the all-time series, 38-30 ... The Seahawks snapped a three-game losing skid and moved to .500 in the conference standings with their 68-66 win at William & Mary on Saturday afternoon. UNCW has also picked up CAA wins over Hofstra, Delaware, and at Northeastern. Two Seahawks average double-figure scoring, led by Keith Rendleman who has team highs of 15.8 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game.
